In Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, we focus on your desired future, using solution focused questioning techniques and trance to help you regain control and make positive changes.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a positive, forward-looking combination of psychotherapy and trance. Rather than focusing on the problem that brought you to therapy, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy takes a structured, well-researched approach based on the latest neuroscience which enables you to find your own solutions towards achieving your desired goal. By coupling this approach with hypnosis, clients can experience significant positive change in a relatively short space of time.



Hypnosis, or trance, is a normal and natural state of relaxation. We all go into a state of trance many times over the course of a day when we're focused on something. Solution Focused Hypnotherapists use trance to enhance therapeutic work by enabling clients access to their subconscious mind which holds all the solutions to their problems. In Solution Focused Hypnotherapy sessions, hypnosis is not something the therapist "does" to the client. Rather the therapist uses trance to facilitate the client's ability to take control themselves. It is very much a collaboration. The hypnotherapist will not make you do anything you don't want to do. You must wish to make the change for the change to happen.
